Plugin User Interface 1
This is the classic way of using the Pixyz Plugin for Unity.
Files of any supported format can be imported in the Unity Editor through the dedicated menus, which are :
- Importing from the menu bar : Pixyz > Import Model
- Importing by placing the 3D model in the Asset folder
GameObjects can also be optimized using the Toolbox and the Rule Engine menus.
Plugin API 2
API Editor
The Pixyz Plugin for Unity can also be used to import files and optimize models through an API.
With a standard license (purchased from the website), it is only possible to import .PXZ files.
The standard license allows also the optimization of GameObjects via the API in the Editor.
API Runtime
You can only import Pixyz files through the API at Runtime. If you want to do so please contact us at sales@pi.xyz.
NOTE There are several Pixyz solutions available to generate .pxz files from your CAD data. Please contact us at sales@pi.xyz to present you the best alternative according to your need(s).
