When importing a model using the Guided import, Pixyz Studio automatically runs a universal Data Preparation scenario, which analyzes the model and processes it to getting a perfectly converted 3D model, from any 3D source/format, be it a CAD, polygonal or point cloud model.

Find below a description of all the steps being run when executing this scenario.


NOTE                This scenario can be recreated in Python as all the functions used in it are available in the Python API. The script Process_GuidedImport.py available in the Sample Scripts folder is an approximation of the scenario that can be used as a reference.
