To measure distances between geometries, you can use the two-clicks mode in most cases.

For example, you can measure distances to circles using different methods:

  • To measure distances to circle centers, use the two-clicks mode with circle primitives.
Alternatively, you can use the advanced mode, but the procedure is longer.
  • To measure the minimum and maximum distances to circles, use the two-clicks mode with edge primitives, but you must manually identify the closest or farthest circle arcs.

To measure distances using the two-clicks mode, follow these steps:

  1. In the Measurement section of the Tools pane, select Two clicks.
  2. Select a detection mode.
  3. In the viewer, select a geometry.
When you hover over the model, the pointer changes color depending on whether you hover over a primitive of the selected type.
  4. Optionally, select another detection mode.
  5. In the viewer, select a geometry.
